These strapless bras have solved the ancient lingerie dilemma: they're comfy and supportive (no, really)

Aside from the fact that it’s Valentine’s Day in a matter of weeks and we’re in desperate need of an outfit for #DateNight, we’re also making our return to the office (again) as restrictions lift completely. That means we also need to refresh our non-WFH wardrobes. The question is: what is your statement-making, this-is-not-a-tracksuit outfit going to look like for either occasion? And do you have the bra (we’ve not worn one of those in months either, don’t worry) to cater for it? If you’re wanting to show some skin with an off-the-shoulder, strapless or bandeau number, then you’ll be wanting a strapless bra. Luckily, we’ve found 15 of them to consider.

Sleeves and straps can provide a whole manner of conundrums in the lingerie department, so you’ll be needing something that provides support but that isn’t visible. That’s where strapless bras (or multi-way bras) come in. They’re a top-drawer saviour so if you’re someone with boobs you’ll absolutely must invest in one.

Trust me, these are the best push-up bras that will make you feel so damn confident

For those with a little more than a handful – lucky you – and for whom going sans bra simply isn’t an option, there’s no need to avoid the more risqué pieces purely for fear of unsightly straps anymore. A strapless bra has can also be one of the best bras for big boobs, and they’ve, quite literally, got you covered.

Thanks to a whole host of lingerie brands, there’s a smorgasbord of smart options when it comes to alternative ways to contain your baps (we’ve even done the hard work of finding the invisible bras for when backless ensembles call). The good news is that there’s more to offer when it comes to colour ranges, fabric styles and sizes nowadays too. Gone are the days when underwear brands only offered one beige strapless bra in a size that claimed to fit everyone, thank goodness.

Which is the most comfortable strapless bra?

If you’re wanting to go strapless but also need something that will cater for a plunging neckline too, never fear. Plunging strapless bras exist and they look like this Fashion Forms Seamless U-Plunge Bra and this La Perla Second Skin U-Plunge Bra. If you’re fine with a style that’s a little more concealing, however, opt for something like this Dorina Michelle Strapless Bandeau Bra.
