Now outdoor socialising in groups of six is allowed, parks are basically our second homes.
And while we’ll need to find parks that are within easy walking distance of all our pals, there are things to consider beyond location.
Beauty, of course. A great park is more than just a patch of grass to sit on. We want somewhere we can go and truly relax, reconnect with nature, and find a moment of peace.
Handy, then, that a new study by Flowercard looks at the most beautiful parks in the UK, based on Tripadvisor reviews that include the words ‘beautiful’, ‘pretty’, and ‘picturesque’.
They took a peek at the parks most frequently described with these words to compile a top ten list of the most gorgeous parks across the UK.
And it’s good news for Londoners – the capital city has more beautiful parks than any other area.
London’s St. James’s Park, which has resident pelicans, colourful flower beds, and a view of Buckingham Palace, comes in at the top spot, followed by Hye Park in second place.
