Theresa May has been voted the worst Tory cabinet minister – even beating hapless transport secretary Chris Grayling.
The Conservative Home website runs a monthly poll of Tory Party members, asking them for their favourite minister from the current crop.
Mrs May has been steadily sinking down the list – but has now hit rock bottom.
Her net satisfaction rating, according to the survey of 1,119 party members is now -73.5, down a staggering 22.3 points since this time last month.
Topping the list is Commons Leader Andrea Leadsom, who went up against Mrs May in the final round of the 2016 Tory leadership contest.
Her approval rating is +52.0, miles ahead of her nearest rivals, Liz Truss on +38.1 and Geoffrey ‘Tory Gandalf’ Cox on +37.9.
Even Chris Grayling, who has seen his numbers plummet in recent months as he struggled to manage the Train timetable chaos, the Heathrow Drone and the ferry company with no ferries, is more popular than Mrs May.
His net approval is -71.1, slightly up on his all-time low of -71.6 in March’s poll.
According to the poll, party members have a negative view of 18 of the 29 cabinet members included.
And with a few exceptions there is a significant Remain/leave divide in the poll, with pro-EU ministers making up most of the bottom of the table.
