There is nothing more fierce than Bimini Bon Boulash getting vaccinated in full Three Lions drag

The Met Gala may have been cancelled this year, but it doesn’t matter, because Bimini Bon Boulash showing up to their vaccination appointment in Three Lions themed drag is even better.

Sorry, Anna Wintour.

The RuPaul’s Drag Race UK finalist took the Euros but made it glam as they got their first jab at the London Stadium in Stratford.

While some of us may have put on our best sleeveless tops for vaccination appointments or maybe gone OTT on our eye make-up to serve face over our face masks, Bimini put us all to shame as they rocked a a boho style skirt and a handkerchief-style top decorated with silver grommets and emblazoned with the Three Lions emblem.

Clearly, Bimini’s enthusiasm for the Euros hasn’t been dampened by England’s disappointing draw with Scotland last night.

The queen, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, accessorised with embellished elbow-length gloves, chandelier earrings and a matching choker, and backcombed hair, while for their make-up, they sported a dramatic silver eye.

Bimini shared a video of themselves getting the jab, soundtracked by the football anthem Three Lions (Football’s Coming Home) by Baddiel, Skinner and the Lightning Seeds, making the video pretty much the summation of summer 2021 in the UK.

The 28-year-old wrote: ‘GO AND GET VACCINATED!!!!

‘I just got jabbed at the London Stadium mass vaccination centre. There are still places so check out @eventbrite mass vaccination now if you’re 18+ and go down!!’

People were loving Bimini’s vaccination lewk, with Drag Race’s Kandy Muse writing: ‘Icon’ and Kim Woodburn commenting: ‘Well done.’

One fan tweeted: ‘Absolutely obsessed with how bimini got in full drag to get vaccinated’, while another tweet read: ‘Vimini Von Vaccinated.’

Bimini’s England-inspired drag was designed by Milli Welch, but it’s not the first football inspired look we’ve seen from the queen.

In the first episode of Drag Race UK series two, Bimini paid tribute to their hometown of Norwich by rocking a Norwich City FC thong bodysuit with thigh-high boots.

The look landed them in the bottom two but Bimini fought back to make it all the way to the final, and stands by the quite frankly iconic look.

They wrote on Instagram: ‘As a Queer person, stereotypes in school were detrimental in preventing me expressing who I really was and this look was a big f*ck you to that! 🖕

‘Drag is about taking the p***. We mock stereotypes and parody it. I was always made to feel less than because I wasn’t good at football, and even though I would try and pretend I liked it, I had no idea about the bloody offside rule. Honestly, the fragile masculinity I would endure on the daily was triggering. Now I’m a raging fairy I can look back on the things that made me feel that way and laugh. And take the p***. Also my a** looked great.’

While Lawrence Chaney took the crown in series two, Bimini has been the series’ breakout, being signed by a modelling agency, shooting with Vogue Italia, starring in a Little Mix video and even releasing their first single, God Save This Queen.
