The winning group will secure a recording contract with Simon Cowell’s record label Syco, to become the UK’s next biggest band.
After four performances by the two groups and a show-stopping performance by X Factor 2018 winner Dalton Harris, the results of The X Factor: The Band were announced.
The girls, known as Real Like You, were crowned the winners of The X Factor: The Band.
Real Like You won the public vote after their performances of Be Like Them, Sorry by Demi Lovato, One Less Problem by Ariana Grande and Independent Woman by Destiny’s Child
After their win was announced, Real Like You performed Be Like Them, an original song written by band member Kellimarie Wilis.
They were joined on stage by their friends and family, reducing judge Leona Lewis to tears.
Speaking after their win, band member Seorsia Leagh Jack said she was “speechless”.
Reece Wilshire-Fesse from the boy band, Unwritten Rule, congratulated the girls and teased Unwritten Rule will be back with more music in the future.
