It’s the hotly anticipated launch of The X Factor: Celebrity this weekend.

In the rebrand of Simon Cowell’s popular singing completion, celebrity’s battle it out for the ultimate prize of a record deal.

The epic line-up has an impressive list of famous faces including former Glee star Kevin McHale, Hayley Hasselhoff and Love Actually child star Olivia Olson.

Love Island 2018 stars Wes Nelson, Samira Mighty, Eyal Booker and Samira Mighty have formed group on the show.

They’re called The Islanders.

The foursome spoke exclusively to Daily Star Online about how they would cope if Simon chose to split up the group.

When asked what they would do if Simon said he only wanted three of them and one of them had to leave, the group said they would let it happen.

Eyal said: “I think..whoever that one was that he said, would go.”

While Samira agreed with her Love Island co-star: “We’d have to understand that.”

Wes didn’t want to even consider it, and said: It’s crazy to think…I don’t even want to think about that negatively as negative thoughts manifest.

“We don’t even want to to think about that right now.

“However, we’ll cross that bridge if it did come.”

The group were in the press recently as they allegedly hated being called The Islanders.

Wes squashed the claims.

Megan Barton-Hanson’s ex said: “We were joking around.

“I’ve got to stress this, I am not ashamed to be from Love Island, whoever wrote that.”


The first episode of the brand new series airs tomorrow.

Viewers will see celebrity hopefuls sing for their life as they compete to win the record contract.

Judging legend Simon Cowell is back, alongside Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh to find the celeb singing icon.

Mr Saturday Night himself, Dermot O’Leary is back to present the series.
