The Witcher 3 coming to Nintendo Switch in October

The Witcher 3 – will you be playing it again?

The Witcher 3 on Nintendo Switch has been given an October release date at Gamescom.

During Gamescom Opening Night Live hosted by Geoff Keighley, a new trailer revealed The Witcher 3 will be released on the platform on 15 October.

CD Projekt Red’s massive RPG was announced to be coming to Nintendo Switch at E3 earlier this year, which will include the expansions Hearts Of Stone and Blood & Wine.

While there’s a noticeable dip in the graphical fidelity of the title compared to the PS4 and Xbox One versions, it’s still incredibly impressive it’s running on a Switch console at all.

The boxed version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on Switch will also include a Witcher Universe compendium, game map, and stickers.

This also marks the first CD Projekt Red game on Switch, although you probably shouldn’t expect Cyberpunk 2077 to make the jump.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt releases on Nintendo Switch on 15 October.
