Hello there, and welcome to this week’s edition of The Week In Geek Quiz. You join us today on a gloomy Friday in London, where one member of our esteemed editorial team is slowly recovering from a Tequila-fuelled hangover. Thursday is the new Friday, right? This guy certainly thinks so, but don’t worry, he’s only the one putting the whole ruddy quiz together.
Thinking back to a happier, less headache-y time of the week, there has been a fair bit of nerdy news for us to mine in search of questions: in the world of big-screen entertainment, we saw the UK release of Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and pored over the nerdy details of Avengers: Endgame‘s DVD extras; on the smaller screen, we watched in awe at the final episode of the X-Men TV series Legion, and marvelled at the news that Ewan McGregor is in talks for a Star Wars spinoff TV show; and with our games consoles powered up, we banged on about FIFA 20‘s dumping of The Journey and reached for our wallets at the sign of some new PS4 controllers.
