The Voice judge Meghan Trainor’s dad ‘struck by a car in alleged hit and run’

Meghan Trainor’s father Gary Trainor has reportedly been ‘struck by a vehicle in an alleged hit and run’.

Sources close to the family have told how the 71-year-old was transported to an area hospital in Los Angeles Friday night after being hit by a car.

The accident took place as Gary was crossing a busy street by foot, near the San Fernando Valley

According to TMZ, Mr.Trainor is listed as being in stable condition.

There has been no confirmation on who was driving the vehicle, but police are reportedly investigating the incident.

It was only a matter of weeks ago that Mr. Trainor appeared on The Voice where he performed alongside Sir Tom Jones.

Olly asked Meghan: ‘Your dad needs to come out and play then.’

‘Dad, Dad, Dadddd,’ Meghan, shouted.

Mr. Trainor, who was a professional performer before he retired, took to the piano where he played Shake Rattle and Roll while Tom sang, and viewers loved every second of it.
