The trailer for Riley Keough’s new horror film The Lodge is here and it’s creepy AF

The trailer for The Lodge, starring Riley Keough, has arrived and we hope you aren’t planning on sleeping anytime soon (or basically ever again) because it is creepy as hell.

The Lodge premiered at the Sundance Film Festival at the start of this year, and will get its cinematic release this Autumn.

And it looks pretty darn terrifying.

It stars Riley Keough, (she of Magic Mike, Logan Lucky and just generally being actual Elvis Presley’s real-life granddaughter fame) as a stepmother-to-be who finds herself snowed in at a holiday cabin with her fiancé’s two young children.

The children are still reeling from their parents’ break up and the subsequent loss of their mother, and take an instant dislike to their father’s new girlfriend.

The children search their stepmother’s name and find out that she was the only survivor of a mass-suicide by her father’s Christian cult when she was just 12 years old.

They find a video of her preacher dad chanting ‘repent’, and things take a hella creepy turn from there on out.

There’s something terrifying – and potentially supernatural – lurking in and around the lodge and, tbh, we’re already going to lose sleep without even knowing what that is.

If you like cabin-in-the-middle-of-nowhere settings and potentially peeing your pants in fear, you’re probably going to love this.

The Lodge is out 15 November.
