This unique new series on Netflix follows the story of an ordinary couple whose lives are turned upside down. A spooky figure known as the Stranger has special abilities and knows everyone’s deepest secrets. Viewers who have read the synopsis are keen for the show to start.
When does The Stranger start?
Viewers will be pleased to hear the show drops on Netflix today, January 30.
Filming for the series started on March 4 last year and took place in and around the UK.
The series has been produced by Madonna Baptiste with Daniel O’Hara as lead director.

Who is in the cast?
There is a great lineup of actors in this new series with some big names taking the lead roles.
Hannah John-Kamen plays the Stranger, she has been in Ant-Man and The Wasp and Ready Player One.
Adam Price is played by Richard Armitage, who is best known for his role as Thorin Oakenshield in The Hobbit.
Comedian Jennifer Saunders takes on her first dramatic role in the series as Heidi, the friend of police detective Johanna Griffin (Siobhan Finneran).
