The Story Mob, an international communications consultancy dedicated to esports, has opened a new European Headquarters in London that will be run by newly-appointed Communications Director Karen Ward. Ward is a London-based comms leader and former associate director at Kazoo Communications.
During her 14 year career, Ward has worked for Activision Blizzard, as well as first-party companies Xbox and PlayStation during stints at various PR agencies. Her experience includes a role of support in the long-running Call of Duty franchise and a leading role in launching the new IPs Skylanders and Destiny.
In addition to adding a new European center of operations, The Story Mob is spreading its wings outside of core competitive gaming and expanding its offer to provide services across digital entertainment. The Story Mob works with entertainment, consumer, and gaming brands looking to connect with a generation for whom gaming culture is an integral part of their everyday experience.
