Premier League players are facing some serious uncertainty in their future, especially those whose contracts are coming up in June. All football in Britain has been suspended for a month at least in response to a growing number of coronavirus cases across the world.
That means fixtures may have to be moved beyond June when so many players’ deals run out and that could have an impact to any potential career choices they may have already made.
Some of them could put pen-to-paper on a fresh contract but others may already be thinking about joining another club and pursuing a challenge elsewhere.
Premier League officials are hoping to restart the season on April 4, but many claims that is unlikely and thus there could be a series of fixtures taking place throughout the summer.
