The pre-wedding facial workout Ellie Goulding has been doing ahead of her big day

Ellie Goulding is in full wedding prep mode as she is expected to marry her New York-based art dealer fiancé Caspar Jopling this Saturday in Yorkshire.

And one of her self-care secret weapons appears to be the cult facial workouts at FaceGym, a non-invasive fitness concept for your skin.

The singer shared a selfie on her Instagram Stories over the bank holiday after having one of its signature facial workouts.

FaceGym, which dubs itself “London’s first gym for the face,” revealed that Goulding had the “Party Face” workout. Goulding has so far had six of the treatments, and it says that in the month leading up to a big event like a wedding day, it typically recommends a course of around one workout a week.

The so-called ‘facial workouts’ it’s famous for are designed to stimulate the more than 40 muscles in your face using electric devices that emit mild, yet forceful electrical waves into your skin. A ‘trainer’ (rather than therapist) then complements this with some vigorous pummelling, knuckling and “whipping strokes” to contour and sculpt cheekbones, boost elasticity, collagen production and blood circulation.

The “Party Face” workout (£130 for 55 mins) is a treatment specifically designed to get customers ready for special occasions, you can read our full review of the treatment here. It combines the sculpting of a Signature Electrical workout with an IV Vitamin Shot for the skin, which despite the name doesn’t involve any needles. Rather, it involves a ‘deep clean’ cocktail of vitamins, peptides and acids being blasted onto the skin, followed by two vitamin shots which are tailored to your skin’s needs.

Pick from the Clear Skin, Pro-Age and Deep Clean cocktails et voilà you have a ‘Goulding Glow.’
