Twenty years ago, Skechers was the brand at the vanguard of the explosion of the chunky trainer trend, and now as the Nineties continues to be fashion’s favourite decade, they’re back as the stylish set’s footwear of choice.

There are five styles in the capsule collection, and all make a statement with their clever combination of high-end fabrics and bold design. The Premium Heritage Energy Captain’s View are classic sneakers made modern with a baroque chain and red leopard-print mix, plus silky rope collar. D’Lites Golden Idea are suitably luxe for the holiday season, with their super-soft black leather edged with gold chains. And the D’Lites 3.0 come in two versions: Cheetah Queen are an explosion of multi-coloured animal print with brightly bejewelled laces, while Flashy Stud echo the major mood for logo mania with supersized rhinestones layered over snakeskin (and they come in black or white versions.)
