The One Show's Alex Jones shares adorable Christmas snap

She welcomed her second son Kit with her husband Charlie Thomson in May this year.

And Alex Jones shared a cute Instagram snap on Wednesday of her seven-month-old son with his older brother Teddy, two, gazing at the Christmas tree while wearing matching pyjamas. 

The One Show presenter, 42, wrote: ‘Can they stay like this forever?’

Her co-host Matt Baker replied to the picture, saying: ‘Their Christmas spirit can,’ with a fist emoji. 

The candid snap of her two boys followed a whole host of Stories depicting Christmas at the star’s family home. 

She also shared a sweet picture of the little boys’ personalised Christmas Eve boxes. 

The Welsh beauty joked she was consigned to preparing drinks as the rest of her family including husband Charlie presided over the meatier tasks.

Alex and Charlie tied the knot at Cardiff Castle on New Year’s Eve in 2015, before welcoming Teddy in January 2017.

In May this year, Alex took to Instagram to announce the arrival of their second child.

Sharing an adorable black and white snap of the newborn’s hand, she added the gushing caption: ‘And then there were 4!!! Little Kit Thomson arrived safely and very speedily last Monday at 2.21am weighing a healthy 7lbs 3.’

Alex joyfully continued: ‘Teddy, Charlie and I are absolutely besotted by baby brother and are enjoying this special time as we get used to being a foursome and generally breathing in that lovely newborn smell!!!

‘A huge thank you to the midwives at the birth centre, Queen Charlotte Hospital for everything you did for us.’

During an recent interview on podcast Guide Dogs: By My Side, the brunette shared the differences in family support between her first and second pregnancy.

The doting parent said: ‘Mum was amazing at the beginning with Teddy. She was there for the first three weeks and thank goodness for her because I don’t know how we would’ve done it, actually. Everybody has nerves about being a mum and being a parent.

‘Pregnancy for any woman is a period of excitement, also slightly terrifying as you don’t know what to expect. Even with your second it’s like: “how am I going to do two?”‘
