The Office star Lucy Davis has revealed she tested negative for coronavirus and was rushed into hospital where she discovered she has a different virus.
The actress, 47, is now resting at home after the sudden ordeal, and told fans about the news over Instagram on Friday.
Lucy, who stars in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, was feeling super grateful for NHS staff who had helped her during the difficult time.
She also explained how she “thankfully” tested negative for COVID-19 – but found out she had another virus.
The star joked she “has to be different” and revealed it will take some time to go, although it’s unknown which virus Lucy has contracted.
Pictured in a medical mask while sitting in a hospital bed, she wrote: “Thank you so much to all the nurses and doctors at @cedarssinai for all you are doing for everyone at this moment.
“You took care of me so graciously, and I never got to see one of your faces! I got to go home, but you are still going in every day and putting yourselves in the middle of all the chaos.”
She added: “Much love and gratitude to you all, and to all the people still going into work in order to look after the rest of us. #heroes.”
Like many other celebrities, Lucy urged her fans to look after themselves and one another as the pandemic deepens.
“Take care of yourselves, and check in (by phone!) with someone on their own. Perhaps an elderly person who might need an extra friend,” she continued.
The actress shot to fame from her role as Dawn Tinsley in Ricky Gervais’ The Office, and is making her mark in The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina as Hilda Spellman.
