Move over Mario Kart! Call it a day, Crash Team Racing! The kart racer we’ve all been anxiously waiting for finally has a release date – Garfield Kart: Furious Racing will launch on 5th November.
The game will apparently feature 16 (16!) iconic circuits from the world of Garfield, as well as local and online modes for up to eight players.
“Garfield, the famous lasagna-loving Cat is back to take on Jon, Odie and company in a no-holds-barred racing game! Choose your character and kart according to their characteristics and your driving style, get off the starting line first and control skids to outrun your opponents.”

The original Garfield Kart (which came out in 2013) boasts very positive reviews on Steam, and boasts one of the most entertaining Steam reviews sections I’ve ever read. It’s also only £3.99, so if Crash Team Racing isn’t quite doing it for you, this all-star racing game will tide you over until Garfield Kart’s sequel.
Garfield Kart 2 will be available for Switch, PS4 and Xbox One, and while I’m pretty disappointed it isn’t releasing on a Monday, it will be released just three days before Death Stranding. Your move, Kojima.
