Over the weekend, Skye Wheatley asked her fans for advice after her 11-month-old son came down with a fever. 

On Monday, the former Big Brother star revealed that she had to rush the tot to  hospital on Sunday night.  

The 25-year-old told her followers on Instagram: ‘Little man had to go to hospital last night.’

‘We experienced the most terrifying and traumatic thing for a parent,’ she added in a video shared to Instagram Stories. 

The former reality star explained that she wouldn’t be replying to messages or emails, wanting to spend time with her son. 

‘Just trying to be present with my boo to make sure he’s okay. Sorry for the delay and please be patient with me,’ she said.

‘It’s been a stressful, busy and crazy month for the Waugh family,’ she said, referring to her boyfriend Lachlan’s last name.

Earlier on Sunday night, Skye asked her 615,000 followers for medical advice on the social media platform concerning her son Forrest, who was ‘burning up’.

She explained her son’s temperature was ‘f****d’ with a fever, she had called the hospital, ‘what else should I do?’

The former reality TV star said: ‘I just put Forrest to bed but his temperature is f****d. He’s so hot and he was so hot [Saturday] night.  

‘I think it might be the change of formula or teething. I’m not even sure if they they get temperatures when they’re teething.

Skye continued: ‘He was like burning up, so I called the hospital and they said to wrap his forehead or his body, whatever, with a warm washer.

‘Not a cold washer, a warm washer, because apparently a cold washer makes their temperature rise.’

The concerned mother then asked her Instagram followers: ‘What else should I do to keep his temperature down?’   

Forrest seemed in good spirits on Friday, when Skye and her boyfriend Lachlan took him to Movieworld on the Gold Coast.
