The Kendall Jenner-approved Giambattista Valli and H&M collaboration is coming

Giambattista Valli has become a brand synonymous for its show-stopping, breath-taking, awe-inspiring gowns (yes, J-Lo we’re thinking of you and that Haute Couture hot pink ensemble from last year.)

But for those who don’t share a bank balance quite as healthy as J-Lo’s, the Italian-born and Paris-based brand’s long-awaited collaboration with Swedish retailer H&M has finally been unveiled.

And it’s better and more red-carpet worthy than anything we were expecting.

H&M teased its 2019 designer collaboration with Valli in May 2019 at the amfAR gala in Cannes, for which it chose five muses – Kendall Jenner, Chiara Ferragni, Bianca Brandolini, Chris Lee (Li Yuchun) and H.E.R – to each model a limited-edition look from the range for the event.

These looks were then made available to buy online and at 12 select H&M stores that very evening, where they sold out instantaneously.

Giambattista Valli x H&M: the ultimate collaboration (H&M)

Now, with the early drop out of the way, all eyes are on the full collection, which comprises Valli’s signature tulle dresses, frill-adorned jumpers and some seriously jaw-dropping jackets, as well as some equally-as-fierce menswear offerings.

H&M began its fashion designer collaborations in 2004 with Karl Lagerfeld and has since gone on to create ranges with designers including Stella McCartney, Isabel Marant, Alexander Wang and Moschino.

The full Giambattista Valli x H&M collaboration will be available from November 7 from H&M stores and online.
