When Amy Hart left the Love Island villa she decided to get herself a brand new look and debuted her bob on Instagram .

The air hostess, 27, has now revealed why she got the chop — and it seems it was the classic girl move of getting a makeover after a bad breakup.

She said she feels like a new woman after breaking up with Curtis Pritchard, 23, and wanted to show that in the way she looks.

Amy told OK! magazine: “I had been through a rough time and I knew that I’d come out a different person to the Amy that went in to the villa.

“When Marcos pinned my hair up for my OK! magazine shoot I loved how strong it made me look and feel, so I wanted to have it cut off ready to start the next chapter of my life.”

Amy posted a defiant selfie yesterday to reveal her new hair do, posing in a low-cut gold dress and pulling a pout for the camera.

“Always make the comeback, bigger than the setback,” she captioned the post.

Viewers were left sobbing when Amy got her heart broken by Curtis as he tried it on with other girls when she was sent off to Casa Amor.

Despite Jourdan not wanting him, Curtis decided to end things with Amy anyway because he didn’t think they were right for each other.

But the blonde bombshell is clearly enjoying her new found fame and has put the drama firmly behind her.

It’s now been rumoured that she’s signed up to the next series of E4’s Celebs Go Dating .

A source told The Sun that that producers loved her bubbly personality and are keen to “cash in” while her story is still fresh.
