The Handmaid’s Tale viewers have seen June (played by Elisabeth Moss) go through quite a few instances of trauma over the years. Season two saw more trouble for June, as she was tasked with living through the hellish existence that is living at Gilead whilst pregnant with Fred Waterford’s (Joseph Fiennes) baby.
Over the years, June has also made a number of enemies in her travels.
And viewers now believe Heather (Joanna Douglas) could be the next big hurdle June has to deal with in the upcoming season four.
Fans will remember Heather was the wife of Omar (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), a man who took June in during her attempted escape from Gilead.
Unfortunately for June, Omar and Heather left her alone in their house to get her out of their community safely – but they never returned.

Their absence forced June to take some of Heather’s clothes and make a run for it alone.
Later in the series, after June was captured once again, Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd) showed her Omar’s dead body before commenting that Heather had now become a handmaid.
Reddit user coco237 has now speculated this means the character will make a return and cause some trouble for June in episodes to come.
They wrote: “Aunt Lydia said she is a handmaid now, so it makes sense for her to switch to June’s district or June switching to hers.
During the conversation, she told the publication exactly why it was taking so long to produce.
Elisabeth revealed: “Part of the reason why it’s taken a little bit longer, besides just timing, is that we are making it a bit of a bigger season this year.
“We’re really stretching the limits of our capabilities, production-wise, and we’re on the move a lot.”
She went on to add: “We’re not sitting in a studio between four walls very much, so it really is a bigger season and that’s taken a little [longer].”
To emphasise how hard she has been working, Elisabeth concluded: “I’ve been in Toronto since mid-January prepping.”
Although this is a good thing for the show – and indeed its viewers – it does mean the show will take some more time to reach screens.
However, as this could be the show’s final season, viewers will no-doubt want it to be the best it can be.
The Handmaid’s Tale season 4 will be released on Hulu later in 2020.
