The fan also hinted towards Lydia’s personal vendetta against June after weakening Gilead’s hold over the nation’s children at the end of season three.
They continued: “The trailer shows that Gilead punished Lydia for having lost control over them and now she demands redemption by catching the Handmaids and destroying June.”
However, even if Lydia begins the next instalment trying to enact her vengeance, this fan also echoed popular theories that the Aunt could finally try to seek redemption.
Finally, they added: “I really hope that Lydia will be fully revealed as a character. She must realize that Gilead is evil.”
