The gameHERS Partners With GameFace for B2B Esports Awards

UK-based esports company GameFace announced that it has partnered with gaming and esports advocacy group, The gameHERS to add a new inclusion category and jury members to its judging panel for its B2B esports awards program, The GameFacers. The B2B awards will add a new category, “Best Inclusion Program,” and new jury members to its awards panel.

GameFace and The GameFacers awards were formally launched in December by events company Festival of Media CEO Jeremy King. The awards will honor esports organizations and related companies in 17 global awards categories and will be judged by an esports jury panel comprised of executives from a variety of companies.

Gameface said in a release that the partnership will address the need for more inclusivity for female and minority gamers and highlight programs and initiatives that are having an impact on the industry as a whole.

In addition, the awards committee has added new jury members to represent the inclusivity of women and individuals that identify as women in esports. The jury panel includes representatives from adidas, Savills, Virgin, Havas, VCCP, Reset, Twitch, TikTok, Black Girl Gamers, and BLAST. In addition members of The gameHERS will be added to the group.

The GameFacer awards ceremony will take place April 23, with a final judging date for each category to be determined. An entry fee is required per category for nominations.
