The footage that will ANGER every Man Utd fan… what Michael Owen did last night REVEALED

Manchester United went into the second leg of the Champions League last-16 2-0 down after the first leg at Old Trafford.

But two goals from Romelu Lukaku in the first half at the Parc des Princes put his side back into the match, despite Juan Bernat’s goal for PSG.

The game looked to be slipping away from Manchester United at 2-1 on the night but deep into second-half stoppage time they were awarded a controversial penalty.

Presnel Kimpembe was adjudged to have blocked a Diogo Dalot shot with his arm after the use of VAR.

Marcus Rashford fired home to put United 3-1 ahead and through on away goals, with the aggregate score at 3-3.

Rio Ferdinand, Michael Owen and Owen Hargreaves were working as pundits for BT Sport.

And you can watch the reaction of the three former Old Trafford stars in the video above.

Ferdinand and Hargreaves, as well as presenter Gary Lineker, were jubilant but Owen just sat calmly as the others celebrated.

And Owen’s response is likely to anger United fans – as a former player – further after he annoyed them when working on the Liverpool match.

He claimed he would have targetted Marcus Rashford’s ankles had he been playing in the match and was heavily criticised by fans.

One fan wrote: “Michael Owen was embarrassing last night, trying to make up to Pool fans it seems when they hate him just as much.”

Another said: “Still love how even @GaryLineker was supporting us last night whereas all @themichaelowen could muster was ‘never a pen’. Don’t understand why he’s so bitter, he wouldn’t have a title if it wasn’t for us!”

And another wrote: “Lol at Liverpool ambassador Michael Owen thinking he shouldn’t react or he’ll get s**t for it.”

On the win, Ferdinand admitted he could not see his old side pulling it off especially with the number of players unavailable to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

“I can’t believe it man,” he said. “I didn’t have the confidence in these boys to do it.

“Ten first-team players on the treatment table out, [Paul] Pogba as well suspended.

“I just didn’t see this result coming the way that Paris Saint-Germain played in the first leg.

“But the character shown by this team, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer brave.

“Ballsy with his team selection, playing young players, finished the game with three teenagers on the pitch.

“Unbelievable man. This is what you want, the character shown by these players, giving them fans now something to shout about after a good few years of starvation in terms of nights like this.”
