Ezra Miller has been charged with felony burglary in Stamford, Vt., according to a Vermont State Police report.

The Flash star – who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns – has made headlines recently for a number of controversies, with prosecutors recently dropping a trespassing investigation against them in Germany.

Now, according to the police report, cops received notification of a burglary complaint from a residence in Stamford on May 1, at around 6pm.

Police reportedly found that several bottles of alcohol had been taken from the property while the owners weren’t home.

After collecting statements and assessing CCTV footage, cops are said to have found ‘probable cause’ to charge Miller with ‘felony burglary into an unoccupied dwelling.’

On August 7, Miller was located by officers and summoned to appear in Vermont Superior Court on September 26, when they will be formally charged.

Miller, 29, played The Flash, aka Barry Allen, in 2018’s Justice League and the 2021 Zack Snyder cut.

It was recently confirmed that they will remain in the role for the latest movie, which was filmed in 2021, despite the allegations surrounding their personal life.

Fans had suggestions on who could possibly replace Miller if they were to be removed from the cut, with Umbrella Academy’s Elliot Page prime favourite.

The future of the movie was unclear until last week, at which point Warner Bros. shared that the project is still slated for release in June 2023.

Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav said at the firm’s second quarter earnings call earlier this month: ‘We have seen The Flash, Black Adam and Shazam 2.

‘We are very excited about them. We’ve seen them. We think they are terrific, and we think we can make them even better.’

Zaslav added: ‘We’re not going to launch a movie until it’s ready. We’re not going to launch a movie to make a quarter, and we’re not going to put a movie out unless we believe in it.’

Other controversies surrounding Miller them being accused of grooming a teenage runaway called Tokata Iron Eyes, whose parents have filed a restraining order against the film star.

Vermont State Police and reps for Ezra Miller have been contacted for comment.
