The fashion editor-approved resortwear brands worth blowing your holiday budget for

You found the most beautiful hotel with the most incredible view.

You have decided, importantly, on your favourite lounger and your tan is accelerating at a similar rate (even more importantly) as your friendship with the barman.

It’s a perfect poolside scene.

Don’t ruin it by slinging some old denim shorts on over your bikini for lunch, max out your absolutely fabulous holiday vibe with some equally killer resort wear.

Remember: dress for the yacht you want.

Lelloue

If you’re not big on boho and prefer your beachwear with a side of serious sass, then Lelloue is the brand for you. Founded in 2017 by designer Amy Molyneux (co-owner of fashion label PPQ) and Helen Johnson, Lelloue make the sort of silky slips, kimonos and wide-leg trousers that look just as appropriate on a night out in London as they do shimmying on a yacht in Mykonos. Think super cool neon leopard prints, bold rainbow stripes and even sequinned eveningwear. Pool party anyone?

Prices range from £100 for a silk turban to £970 for silk chiffon dresses. Available at Selfridges.

Three Graces London

Catherine Johnson initially launched Three Graces London in 2015 as a luxury nightwear brand. However when she discovered people were flocking to Selfridges in droves to buy her floaty white cotton nighties to wear to the beach, launching beachwear became a very natural next step.

Think billowing, super-fine silk and linen in gorgeous Grecian, ‘grammable styles.

Prices from £250-£730. Available on Farfetch, Matches and Net-a-Porter.

And her experience and knowledge of technical cuts and fabrications certainly shows – from delicate cut work on digital prints to double-faced lycras, these are beach garms you’ll feel your most gorgeous in.

Prices for beachwear start at £275 and go up to £425.

Kalita

If your idea of a perfect holiday involves drifting from the pool to a sunset Aperol spritz without a care in the world or need to change outfits, stuff your suitcase to the brim with Kalita. Prices start at £350 and go up to £820. Available at Matchesfashion.com, Net-a-Porter and Moda Operandi.

Lee Pfayfer

Ukrainian architect-turned-designer Lidiya Pfayfer embroiders symbols of her favourite places, onto lightweight linen dresses – think corals for Saint-Tropez, monstera leaf for Bali and vases for Shanghai – using a hand embroidering technique that takes ten days per dress. Gorgeous and uber-grammable power beachwear. Add to basket stat.

Prices from $690.
