The ES fashion team pick their favourite looks of the Grammys 2020

The Grammy Awards 2020 certainly lived up to expectations.

Not only a night honouring the music industry’s finest stars, it’s also an opportunity for artists to go bigger, bolder and better than ever before with their style choices.

From the sleek and chic to big and beautiful, our fashion team pick their top celebrity looks of the night.

Maggie Rogers in vintage Chanel

Vintage: tick. Natural hair: tick. Maggie Rogers is crossing all my boxes in this Chanel 2013 throwback – oh, and her Chanel water-bottle-cum-handbag was the best accessory on the red carpet, too.

Nathalie Joachim

I’m the flautist and composer Nathalie Joachim’s new number one fan thanks to this crimson get-up. The Villanelle-inspired big dress trend clearly isn’t going anywhere (also see Ariana Grande). Joachim keeps it the right side of fancy dress with this deep V neckline – which expertly balances out the volume – plus fresh natural make-up.

Labrinth in Balmain

Welcome to the new era of the peacocks, where men are dominating red carpet dressing. Enter Labrinth in this casually cut and draped two-piece – so far so pedestrian. What makes it so mega is that perfect postbox red shade, the double gold chain and those great Cuban heels.

Bebe Rexha

I’m into this oversized tuxedo and offsetting it with the sheer diamond encrusted top is very Britney Spears in Toxic circa 2004.

Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell

Going for in matching Gucci on stage is the epitome of sibling matchy matchy dressing.

James Blake

This culottes ensemble and a chunky shoe is everything I want to wear every day to work.

Billy Porter in custom Baja East

Billy Porter never fails to bring the drama and this look certainly doesn’t disappoint. Love the peekaboo hat equipped with a sliding crystal curtain.

Lizzo in Versace

Because she is the queen of everything.

Dua Lipa in Alexander Wang

Love this chic 90s style glamour look paired with simple diamonds and pale blue eyeshadow.

Lil Nas X in Versace

Can you ever go wrong with a hot pink Versace cowboy look? Love the cropped leather jacket and the gold details. Donatella approved.

Tyler the Creator in custom Golf de Fleur

Because I love everything he does and I’m obsessed with this Wes Anderson bell boy vibe.
