The Circle fans in tears as Zoe Ball and Fatboy Slim ‘reunite’ to support Woody


The Circle returned to our TV screens tonight for it’s penultimate episode.

In tonight’s edition of the Channel 4 show, each of the remaining players received a message from home.

Woody Cook, 18, was delighted when his mum Zoe Ball and dad “Fatboy Slim” Norman Cook appeared on his screen in a video message alongside his sister Nelly.

In the clip, Zoe told Woody: “Since you’ve been gone we’ve been living in your cupboard, in your bedroom, and really missing you.

“We just wanted to say how super proud we are, you’ve been absolutely amazing.

“You’ve been so full of love, you’ve been totally daft and showing your magic, you’ve been so super clever, you’re absolutely smashing it darling and we’re so proud of you.”

Dad Norman added: “Hurry home soon.”

Viewers of the show took to social media to gush over Woody’s sweet family message.

One said: “Coolest parents ever! What a lovely united message for Woody.”

Another added: “How nice that Woody’s parents did the video message together even though they no longer are.”

A third tweeted: “Awww I’m in tears at Woody’s message.”

A fourth gushed: “Woody’s family message was adorable.”

Woody went into The Circle to see if how fair he could get without the other players finding out about his famous parents.

The youngster has been a fan favourite from the start alongside professor Tim.

The winner of the The Circle will be revealed by host Emma Willis in tomorrow night’s live show.

All of the previously blocked players will be back to find out the comes out on top.

The Circle returns to Channel 4 at 10pm
