The Chase's Bradley Walsh rows with Shaun Wallace over Cristiano Ronaldo player gag

Bradley Walsh argued with his ITV co-star Shaun Wallace – after Shaun stopped the show to make a gag about Manchester United footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Chase host Bradley had been trying to present the latest edition of the hit game show on Tuesday (January 11).

Chris, Tina, Sharon and Aldo became the latest team of contestants to appear in the studio in a bid to take home a hefty sum of money.

However, the show quickly took a chaotic turn when Chaser Shaun Wallace, also known as The Dark Destroyer, said the names of the four players spelled out the name of Cristiano Ronaldo when you read them together.

However, it was clear that Bradley was far from impressed with his gag about the Manchester United footballer.

Shaun asked: “Before we go actually, do you notice something? The four names.”

Bradley looked around in confusion as Shaun continued: “Footballers. Cristina Sha-Ronaldo”

Sadly for Shaun, Brad was bitterly disappointed with the sporting gag and and he turned to the camera with a look of disgust.

Shaking his head, Bradley asked him: “Really?”

Shaun replied: “Yeah, really!”

When Bradley tried to read out the names of the players, he failed to see how it spelled out Cristian’s name properly and grilled the Chaser on it.
