The Chase star Bradley Walsh's real age leaves ITV viewers stunned


Bradley Walsh left social media in a spin after his real age was revealed as he celebrates a landmark birthday.

The former Coronation Street actor celebrates his 60th birthday tonight which was marked by ITV with a one-off documentary focusing in his life and career – going back to his early showbiz days as he attempted to make a name for himself as a stand-up comedian.

Fellow comedian and pal Jason Manford takes a look back through the Walsh archive which also features his roles as The Chase host as well his time walking the famous Coronation Street cobbles, a stint in Law and Order: UK and taking on the role of the Doctor’s assistant in Doctor Who.

The documentary will also give fans a blast into the past with some of Bradley’s fashion choices, bloopers and hairstyles throughout his impressive career.

Fans instantly took to Twitter to share their thoughts after discovering that Bradley was turning 60.

One fan tweeted: “Bradley Walsh is nearly 60? Hope I look that good at that age.”

While a second went on to say: “@ITV brilliant Bradley Walsh show tonight such a multi-talented man, never believe he’s 60! Happy birthday Bradley.”

A third fan exclaimed in utter disbelief: “HOW DID I NOT KNOW BRADLEY WALSH WAS 60 I THOUGHT HE WAS YOUNGER THAN THAT.”

“I can’t believe Bradley Walsh is 60 today. It’s really amazing. I have nothing but love for him,” penned a fourth.

The one-off special took fans back to Brad’s time on Coronation Street

Yesterday morning saw Bradley celebrate the occasion with friends Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield during an interview on This Morning.

Holly and Phill went to great lengths to celebrate, each donning party hats before surprising him with a gift hamper of his favourite sweets, Maynards Wine Gums.
