The Chase fans switch off 'worst episode ever' as final chase is 'ruined'


The Chase fans returned to our screens this afternoon for the latest instalment of the ITV quiz show.

Host Bradley Walsh welcomed four new contestants to the show today for the last episode of the week.

The cheeky presenter was eager to see them get through to the final with some money in hand.

Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha was in the hot seat tonight trying to prevent the hopefuls from going home with the cash prize.

Diana, Bev, Mark and Alex all took their turn in answering questions against The Sinnerman, but only Bev made it through to the final chase.

Personal Trainer Bev opted to take the lowest offer from The Chaser during the head-to-head round and made it through to the final chase with just £1,000.

Bev hoped fellow contestant Diana would make it through to help her in the final round of the game show, but the pensioner got caught out on her final question.

Things went from bad to worse for Bev as she only managed to get just nine questions correct in the final chase.

The blonde contestant was caught by The Sinnerman with plenty of time to spare.

Fans of the game show branded tonight’s edition the “worst show ever” due as only a £1,000 was up for grabs in the final chase.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Tonight’s episode was s**t.”

Another added: “What a boring episode of The Chase today.”

A third said: “Why did they even bother broadcasting this episode? Nobody wants to watch a final for a grand. Final chase is ruined.”

A fourth moaned: “I’m going in the shower and turning The Chase off. Worse show ever tonight.”

While a majority of fans couldn’t bare to watch the quiz show tonight, some viewers couldn’t help but see the funny side.

One said: “Is this a real episode? haha”

Another added: “It’s going to be one of those episodes isn’t it.”

A third said: “Tonight’s episode was a weird one lol.”

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV
