The Body Coach Joe Wicks 'wanted by Channel 4 and BBC to host live workout show'

Joe Wicks is reportedly being courted by both Channel 4 and the BBC after his YouTube PE sessions for kids were watched by more than one million homes tuning in.

The coronavirus lockdown has seen schools close and millions of children to be home schooled in an attempt to stop the spread of the virus.

The Body Coach took the opportunity to be the nation’s PE teacher and it is proving to be one of the breakthrough moments since Covid-19 took a grip of the country.

The 33-year-old is reportedly close signing a deal with Channel 4 to host a live workout show, with the BBC apparently also interested in getting Wicks on board.

Since the schools closed down, Joe has vowed to give daily PE sessions for children at 9am from Monday to Friday.

“I’m going to take this over. I’m going get your kids moving, fit and energised, positive and optimistic.”
