‘He’s already copied the apartment!’ The Block is rocked by a cheating scandal as Mitch and Mark accuse Jesse and Mel of replicating another home’s design

Tensions appear to be reaching new heights on The Block.

On Tuesday, Mitch and Mark accused contestants Jesse and Mel of ‘cheating’, claiming their apartment had the exact same furnishing as the Saint Moritz development in St Kilda.

After leaving the job site to visit Triple M studio’s for an interview with Jess Eva, the stylish grandpas insisted auctioneer Jesse’s property was similar to an apartment he had once sold.

At the start of the interview, radio host and former Block contestant Jess asked the pair if they believed Jesse would successfully exchange a $1000 voucher for an apartment.

The Blockheads were completing a challenge which required them to up-swap a  McCafe voucher and the couple with the most valuable swap would win $5000.

‘I have heard on the rumour mill that there is a certain contestant called Jesse,’ Jess started.

‘Do you think Jess has any chance of up-swapping a $1000 Mccafe voucher to a $1 million apartment?,’ she asked.

The stylish grandpas immediately suggested that this would be possible because he had copied the design.

‘Jesse thinks big,’ Mark said.

Mitch added: ‘That must be the Saint Moritz that he copied his apartment from.’

He continued: ‘Maybe he’s going to swap for an apartment because he’s already copied the apartment so his blown their deal.’

Jesse and Mel are set to confront the grandpas on Wednesday night when The Block continues at 7.30 on Channel Nine.
