Things are getting very emotional over at The Big Bang Theory‘s HQ, with Mayim Bialik revealing her dressing room is now being dismantled ‘piece by piece’.

The heartbreak.

The Big Bang Theory is coming to an end this series and just like us, it seems Mayim, who plays Amy on the show, isn’t quite ready to say goodbye.

The 43-year-old was seen bidding farewell to her dressing room that has served her well over the years on Twitter, with Mayim admitting that its just been tears after tears on set the last few weeks.

She tweeted: ‘My little corner of @bigbangtheory stage at Warner Brothers is being dismantled piece by piece before the end of the series. Maybe my box of tissues should be the last thing to go.’

Oh, Mayim!

The Big Bang Theory is coming to an end after 12 years (yes really, it’s been 12 years already) and there’s plenty of speculation doing the rounds on how it will all end for Sheldon, Leonard and the gang.

And, to be honest, we can theorise as much as we want, but TBBT director Mark Cedrowski has confessed that even he’s not too sure how to wrap things up, just yet.

Uh, time’s ticking Mark?

Speaking to Deadline, Cedrowski said: ‘The final episode has not been written completely yet; it’s been outlined.

‘I will say the one thing about how they’ve approached the whole season: When we learned that this was to be the last season… writers have approached it, not so much as the show is wrapping up and we’ll never see them again and the finality of it all.

‘It’s going to be the last episode and it’s going to end, but people’s lives still go on.’

Wait, so could this mean that there could, just could be, the potential for a future reunion at some point?

‘The characters will be giving the idea that their lives continue on,’ Mark said. ‘It’s not going to be an atomic bomb where things blow up and you never see anybody again.’

Hmm, we’re going to take that one as a yes, then.

The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays on CBS in the US and on E4 in the UK.
