The Big Bang Theory: Penny's fridge contained hidden scene details – did you spot it?

The Big Bang Theory had an emotional ending in the final few episodes.

After spending 12 seasons being a pain to his friends, Sheldon Cooper (played by Jim Parsons) received a Nobel Prize alongside his wife Amy Farrah-Fowler (Mayim Bialik).

In his acceptance speech Sheldon went on to give an emotional thanks to all of his friends – and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

The Big Bang Theory is renowned for having touching moments in-between the constant flow of comedy and slapstick, and viewers have just spotted a new detail in Penny’s (Kaley Cuoco) apartment.

Penny has had a huge array of friends throughout her time on the show, since episode one.

But as the seasons went on Penny became extremely close to both Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz (Melissa Rauch) and Amy Farrah Fowler.

She even found herself becoming attached to all of the guys’ friends with Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki), and this was proven in a number of shots from seasons 11 and 12.

During scenes in Penny’s apartment, viewers may be able to spot a number of photos on her fridge of Penny with members of the cast.

Penny is visible with Leonard, Amy, and Bernadette, as well as some people from behind the scenes of The Big Bang Theory.

She is also pictured with some members of the crew, who kept the series going over the years.

Obviously this is a nice nod to the stars of the show, and to those who helped keep it running.

Once Penny eventually moved in with Leonard, so too did the photos, which ended up on the fridge in her new apartment.

Recently viewers discovered something about Howard Wolowitz’s (Simon Helberg) room at his mother’s house.

While it was inevitably drenched in a number of comic book and pop-culture characters, viewers recently noticed something unique about his style.

On closer inspection, all of the characters featured in Howard’s room are women.

Ranging from Batman villains such as Catwoman and Poison Ivy, to other female members of pop culture, including Princess Leia, and Wonder Woman.

It also included a number of posters featuring Marilyn Monroe, Betty Boop, and Halle Berry – which famously sat above his bed on his ceiling.

The self-proclaimed ladies’ man certainly had a high-opinion of himself, and these posters, figurines, and memorabilia emphasised this.

Unfortunately for Howard it doesn’t seem like his posters and figures make it to his new house with Bernadette.

The Big Bang Theory season 12 is available on CBS and All4.
