Water activities are the best way to beat the boredom this summer and distract your kids from the lure of their screens.

The best attractions are the ones that all family can get involved in, and some of the activities in our round-up can be enjoyed by up four people.

Learn how to white water raft, have fun at an inflatable waterpark, or see how your get on with flyboarding.

Most of the activities in our round-up are set outdoors, so don’t forget to keep yourself protected from the sun’s rays.

Looking for something fun to do with your friends this summer?

There’s no better way to bond than on a raft hurtling towards terrifying twists on the Olympic white water canoe course.

This experience cost £130 for two although it will take place as part of a group of nine people, accompanied by a friendly professional guide to help you.

Flyboard

This experience is not for the faint-hearted.

Flyboarding is an exciting extreme water sport that will literally take you to new heights.

Lasting for up to 90 minutes, this adrenaline-fuelled experience includes a briefing, 30 minutes of one-to-one tuition and around 20 minutes on the flyboard.

All  participants must be at least a minimum of 16 year old and able to swim.

The Bear Grylls Adventure begins with a 90-minute Basecamp where you’re given the skills to equip you for your adventures.

Basecamp is made up of four challenge including Break Out – Escape Room, Targets Archery, Survival Maze and Assault Course.

You’ll then be given an option to give scuba diving a try, learn dive techniques and stroll around a large fish tank.

At £220 for two it’s a bit pricey but do remember that the whole experience last four hours including challenging basecamps for a total of 90-minutes and snorkel or scuba dive for 120 minutes. All the equipment is also provided, so it’s quite a good deal.

Powerboat Activities

If you fancy going out on the water, rent a power boat and take your little one or a friend with you.

The powerboat driving experience is currently selling for a discount £48 for two – down from £100 or £96 for four.

Lifejackets are supplied and must be worn at all times to stay safe.

Water Park

Anyone who loves water sport will enjoy spending an hour bouncing and hopping all over the floating Atlantis Aqua Park.

Perfect for a group activity, tickets are currently selling for a discounted £28.95  for two down from £60 and £54.95 instead of £120 to come along with a group of four.

If you’re happy being paired up with stranger you can also pay for a ticket for one at £14.95.

The waters host an array of attractions for divers to explore, including boats and aircraft fuselage.
