THE best holiday parks in the UK have been revealed – and your favourite might have made the list.
Which?’s new report has ranked the best value resorts, depending on a range of factors across 2,200 stays.
This includes cleanliness, accommodation quality, customer services and facilities, along with entertainment and food and drink.
The scores are then calculated by looking at the average price per night against the value for money.
Two holiday parks came in top for having five out of five stars for all categories.
Potters Resorts and Waterside Holiday Group took the top spots – with Potter’s praised for food and booze included as well as West End-inspired shows, while Waterside Holiday Group has safari lodges and beachfront bars.
Center Parcs came 12th out of 19 – while it was rated five stars for accomodation, fell in value for money after costing the same price as Potters, which was all-inclusive.
However, coming in last was Pontins at 59 per cent, ranking just two stars for accommodation and entertainment.
This was followed by Parkdean Resorts (68 per cent) and Haven Holiday Parks (68 per cent).
Which? Travel editor Guy Hobbs said: “The UK has an incredible variety of holiday parks and resorts. Holidaymakers can choose from those bursting with slides, swimming pools and activities for kids, or opt for a luxury stay in a safari lodge with hot tub.
