The Bachelor's Abbie Chatfield looks fresh and breezy in white as she leaves Sydney Airport

She admitted she’d suffered an emotional breakdown while watching her elimination on the final episode of The Bachelor, but it looks like Abbie Chatfield is on the mend. 

On Sunday, the 23-year-old appeared to be in a fantastic mood as she left Sydney Airport. 

Abbie beamed as she made her way through the terminal to an unknown destination.

She continued smiling as she wheeled along her upmarket black suitcase in a shiny black plastic.

Abbie then left the airport, her bag in tow, and appeared to be in a hurry as she walked along the street.    

The 2019 runner up’s outing came after she became emotional during an appearance on Studio 10 earlier this week.

The Bachelor villain was moved to tears while revealing how Matt Agnew had left her ‘heartbroken’ by picking Chelsie McLeod in the finale instead of her.

‘It’s been really, really difficult the whole time, because I was a main character on the show,’ she said.

She also explained that she had been targeted by trolls on social media.

‘I was getting a lot of really horrible DMs [direct messages] and I got a few threats of violence, I got people saying your mother shouldn’t have had you,’ she said.

‘So that’s the level of things I’ve been getting, hundreds a day, so that in addition to being heartbroken…’ she said, before breaking down in tears.
