The Bachelorette: Jess Glasgow 'under investigation for breach of conduct' after 'creepy' behaviour

Noosa councillor Jess Glasgow is under investigation for breach of conduct following his controversial appearance on Angie Kent’s season of The Bachelorette.

Mayor Tony Wellington has issued a blistering statement saying that Glasgow’s behaviour on the show does not reflect Noosa Council or the town’s community values.

In a trailer for Thursday’s episode, Glasgow makes a lewd remark to Kent about his ‘wandering fingers’. Sources have also told Daily Mail Australia that his antics behind the scenes left the other contestants ‘baffled’.

In a statement on Thursday, Mr Wellington said that Glasgow ‘did not seek approval’ to be a contestant on the show.

He added that Glasgow’s appearance on The Bachelorette is a potential breach of the Councillor’s Code of Conduct and the matter will be referred to the Office of the Independent Assessor.

Mr Wellington made it clear that Glasgow, who frequently boasted about being a local politician on the show, ‘was not representing Noosa Council’.
