She’s currently vying for Matt Agnew’s heart on The Bachelor.

But on Wednesday night, Monique Morley sabotaged her chances of winning by calling the 32-year-old astrophysicist a ‘dog c**t’.

However, she insists that her use of the C-word was just a ‘joke’ that her rival Abbie Chatfield had maliciously taken out of context.

Monique told TV Week the ‘dog c**t’ insult was actually a reference to a viral YouTube video from 2008 called ‘Trent from Punchie’.

In ‘Trent from Punchie’, actor Nicholas Boshier portrays a foul-mouthed teen from the western Sydney suburb of Punchbowl.

She claimed the women were all joking about the video when she used the term ‘dog c**t’ in reference to Matt.

‘We were in stitches laughing… I don’t remember exactly what was said, but if it was said, it was as a joke. It was taken completely out of context,’ she said.

Channel 10 bleeped out every use of the word ‘c**t’, but did not censor Matt when he uttered the euphemism, ‘See you next Tuesday’.

Wednesday night’s episode saw chaos erupt when Abbie Chatfield told Matt that Monique had called him a ‘dog c**t’ and ‘disrespectful pig’ behind his back.

Matt pulled Monique aside and confronted her about what was supposedly said, but the 26-year-old lingerie denied ever insulting him.

‘I would never, ever say that,’ Monique insisted. ‘I’m very vocal in how I feel… I don’t like to cause drama.’

Matt told Kyle and Jackie O on Wednesday that the C-word incident will continue into the next episode, saying: ‘Buckle up, things are still unfinished!’

The Bachelor Australia continues Thursday at 7:30pm on Channel 10
