Where is Tewkesbury Park?

In the medieval market town of Tewkesbury, the hotel is set amid 175 acres of stunning parkland with panoramic views of the Cotswolds.

The easiest way to get there is by car and there’s free parking on site for guests.

The spa may be on the small side but it offers brilliant facials and is a great spot for relaxing with a calm swimming pool, hot tub and sauna.

The hotel is dog-friendly and pooches are treated like royalty with their own meals served on silver platters.

Book into a terrace room if you’re travelling with furry friends.

The location is the hotel’s real draw though, with the historic Tewkesbury town, Cheltenham’s popular horse-racing tracks and the classic Cotswolds village of Bourton-on-the-Water all close by.

What is there to eat and drink at Tewkesbury Park?

Make sure to try the hotel’s restaurant, Mint. It’s not cheap, but dinner is an experience thanks to the local produce and impressive wine list.

Desserts were the real highlight, including a British cheese board and a gooey chocolate fondant served with coffee ice cream.

There are 87 rooms, many of which sit in the newer part of the hotel, as well as six luxury historic suites in the main house, all overlooking the rolling countryside.

Beds are incredibly comfy and extra touches, like GHD hair straighteners, made our stay as easy as possible.

Is Tewkesbury Park family-friendly?
