Test Test Test Test Test Test Test Test Stacey Solomon was overcome with pride as seven-month-old Rex has started to crawl – but then revealed his first word was “Dada.”
The Loose Women panellist has been sharing updates about her youngest child on Instagram, revealing that he’s now showing signs he’s ready to crawl.
Solomon shared details of her son’s newfound skill with her 2.6million followers on Instagram.
Although she confessed that he hasn’t quite “mastered” it yet, Rex is still managing to crawl a small distance at a time.
In one video, the star can be seen encouraging Rex, who is her first baby with partner Joe Swash, to keep moving with a fox teddy.
In another video, the proud mum reveals her new tactic of removing Rex’s trousers to stop his knees from slipping on the floor.
The TV personality told fans: “I’ve taken his trousers off and he’s trying so hard for his toys! He’s doing this little bouncy thing.”
The next clip showed Rex struggling some more before falling onto his tummy, with his mum exclaiming: “You’re so close, you can do it. That’s it, clever boy.”
Eventually, Rex managed to crawl his way over to his toys – with Solomon overcome with emotion at his achievement.
She wrote: “He got it, why do I want to burst into tears right now?”
The star later shared a clip of Rex saying “dada”, joking: “Omg I think he’s saying dada but I don’t want to admit it!”
Solomon added: “How much time do you have to spend with a child for them to say mum?”
Rex is Solomon’s first child with boyfriend Swash who is currently competing on Dancing On Ice.
She is also mum to 11-year-old Zachary and Leighton, seven, from previous relationships.
