Tessa Blanchard will be removed from WWE 2K Battlegrounds videogame – Wrestling-Edge.com

Tessa Blanchard

WWE 2K Battlegrounds was released on current generation consoles and PC on September 18th. As reported earlier, fans were able to find an image in the instructions for the Royal Rumble match type which no one expected to see.

Tessa Blanchard was seen in the video game despite not being part of the WWE roster. The original photographer of that picture of Blanchard was certainly upset at 2K doing this.

In his Twitter thread, Basil Mahmud was given assistance by trademark attorney Michael Dockins, who advised him on what legal action he could take should 2K not remove the image from the game. Basil then sent out a tweet where he thanked Dockins for his help. He revealed that Dockins assisted him late last night and was finally able to resolve the issue.

Mahmud’s photo will be removed from the game entirely with the latest patch.

I just want to thank @mrdockins for all the help with this late last night and today. Awesome person and great representation needed to get this matter solved properly and effectively.

UPDATE: @2KBattlegrounds and I have spoken. The image is going to be removed to tonight in a patch update. 1. No I’m not going to tell you guys anything else 2. I don’t wanna do your podcast. And number C: Credit your artists TGIF, now go watch some Boy Meets World
