Tell us: how do you keep your kids entertained in the car (without an iPad)?


This summer, many of us are choosing to holiday closer to home, rather than venturing abroad. But a family road trip can be a daunting prospect – particularly if travelling with young children prone to boredom on long journeys.

With this in mind, we want to know your top tips for keeping kids entertained in the car, without resorting to screen time. Perhaps you know of a game which always makes the travel time pass more quickly? Or maybe you’ve found it’s best to travel at night, so that your children sleep through the journey? Either way, let us know your suggestions for keeping kids occupied – and iPad-free – in the car this summer.
