TEEN idol HRVY caused pandemonium at Bluewater after thousands of fans descended on the shopping centre – forcing it to shut down.
The singer, 20, had to be evacuated from a PA at the retail destination after just four minutes due to the size of the crowds.
HRVY, who boasts more than half a billion streams of his music, had been scheduled for a low-key appearance at Bluewater’s JD Sports to celebrate his role in their new ad campaign alongside Maya Jama.
But reports of his appearance soon circulated online, resulting in hoards of fans stampeding through the centre.
Security were forced to step in and whisk HRVY out for his own safety.
Video taken on Saturday shows him being escorted to a car by six burly men as screaming teens surround him.
A source at Bluewater said: “Once word got out total mayhem ensured. Such was the swell of the crowds the event had to be shut down.”
HRVY, who has over 4.6million followers on Instagram, released his new single Million Ways on Friday.
