Ted Bundy documentary previews heart wrenching testimonies from woman who escaped


A first trailer for the much anticipated new Ted Bundy documentary now features distressing clips from survivors that escaped the hands of the killer.

Ted Bundy: Falling For A Killer is set to be released on Amazon Prime in the new year is based on stories provided by the murderer’s longtime girlfriend, Elizabeth Kendall.

The new trailer which dropped this week highlights that the five-part docu-series reveals that the series will show accounts from some of Ted’s victims.

It’s believed that multiple women who took part, are now speaking for the first time.

Ted killed more than 30 women during his killing rampage

Opening the trailer, one of Ted’s victims states that it’s time for the women to reveal their horrors.

The female says: “It has been told many times by men, but, now it’s time to talk about it because we lived and so many people didn’t.”

Falling For A Killer also features interviews from Ted’s attorney, police officers and journalists who covered the case at the time.

ted’s longtime girlfriend Elizabeth Kendall has opened up about her experiences with the murderer

Ted raped and murdered over 30 women in brutal attacks during his 1970s, killing spree.

He also went on to escape prison twice before his execution a Florida State Prison in 1989.

Elizabeth was the only person to initially give Bundy’s name to law enforcements, which eventually led to the killer being arrested.

Amazon Prime claims that the show will include in-depth interviews with Elizabeth and her daughter, Milly, who both share the horrors of living with the mass murderer.

A statement released by Amazon said: “After nearly 40 years of silence, Elizabeth Kendall and her daughter Molly share their experiences with unsettling new details about Bundy, the pull he had on women and an abundant archive of never-before-seen family photos.”

The new series will also look into the psychology of what drove Ted to murder over 30 women.

Amazon continued: “Ted Bundy: Falling For A Killer reframes Bundy’s crimes from a female perspective – uncovering the disturbing and profound way in which Bundy’s pathological hatred of women collided with the culture wars and feminist movement of the Seventies, culminating in what is perhaps the most infamous true-crime saga of our time.”

Elizabeth has also opened up about her time with Ted in the book, The Phantom Prince: My Life With Ted Bundy.

Despite initially being released in 1981, an updated version will be available in January accompanying the docs-series.
