Tech services firm ploughs £700,000 into business as it moves to bigger base

Technology business Inoapps has agreed a five-year lease on a 7500 sq ft office as it announces a £700,000 investment in its global products division in Linlithgow.

The managed service provider and Oracle Platinum Partner will move in to Oracle’s main campus building from its original premises having boosted its numbers from 12 to more than 55 people over the last three years.

It will share the new premises with digital technology trade body Scotland IS and non-profit organisation the Scottish Business Resilience Centre.

The new office has state-of-the-art video conferencing, AV facilities and meeting spaces and will allow Inoapps to expand its Digital Skills Academy which provides internal training and development for staff and outreach work with Scottish schools.

Aberdeen-h eadquartered Inoapps also has premises in London and Derby as well as international offices in the US, Malaysia and Singapore.

UK managing director Phil Burgess said: “The move into the Oracle Campus is part of a significant investment into our UK and international business and the wider community.

“We are constantly evaluating new industry sectors internationally and developing products with industry-specific functionality to complement Oracle’s core solutions. Our Products Division in Linlithgow is the hub of this activity.

“The new state of the art office will enable us to continue to grow our team to support this key aspect of our business. It will also strengthen the already close working partnership we have forged with Oracle.

“I’m especially pleased that the new premises gives us the scope to expand our Digital Skills Academy which has been critical in the development of our team, enabling us to provide a focused training programme to our developers.

“This facility also plays an important role in addressing the skills gap by working with local schools to encourage and inspire more young people to pursue careers in digital technology.”
