Taylor Swift's excruciating takedown of ex-manager Scooter Braun in The Man video

Taylor Swift didn’t hold back when she took aim at ex-manager Scooter Braun in her new music video.

The 30-year-old singer sent a very clear message about the war over her back catalogue.

The video for the song, which includes the lyrics “I’m so sick of running as fast as I can/ Wondering if I’d get there quicker if I was a man”, takes a very obvious swipe at Scooter.

Taylor becomes ‘The Man’ with help from prosthetics, a wig and fake facial hair and a sharp suit and tie.

From demanding his staff make him more money to ‘man-spreading’ and smoking a cigar on the subway to partying with a bevy of beautiful women on a yacht, The Man is living his best boss life, and Taylor is clearly having a lot of fun in her role.

But there’s one moment in the video that’s aimed directly at Scooter.

After The Man gets off the subway at ’13th Street Station’, a nod to her favourite number, he decides to relieve himself up against a wall in the station.

Graffitied all around the word ‘Karma’ on the wall are the names of some of Taylor’s previous albums, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, and Reputation.

Hanging amongst them is a large poster which reads: “Missing

“If found return to Taylor Swift”

Taylor is clearly having a dig at the fact that she lost the rights to her entire back catalogue.

Her former manager Scooter and Scott Borchetta acquired her former label Big Machine Records in June las year, taking control of her entire back catalogue.

Taylor has publicly lashed out the men on a number of occasions.

And if this swipe in her music video wasn’t enough to get the message across, she hit it home by including a poster of a ‘no scooters’ sign.

It didn’t go unnoticed by her fans.

One took to Twitter to say: “THE NO SCOOTERS SIGN IN THE TAYLOR SWIFT THE MAN VIDEO I AM HOLLERING”

Another posted: “KARMA IS A BADASS B***H named Taylor Swift No SCOOTERS allowed in 13th Street Station while THE MAN is doing her glittery business.”

The Man is applauded by his employees

“Scooter Braun shade spotted,” a third chimed in.

While another wrote: “SCREAMING The no scooter sign? The missing return to TS? That Taylor was the man all along? A talented queen indeed”

Taylor bears an uncanny resemblance to Kourtney Kardashian’s Scott Disick in the music video after her male transformation.

And she gives a performance worthy of ‘The Lord’ himself.

She’s been in a public feud with Scooter Braun

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson also has a surprise cameo in the video, providing the voice of The Man when he stops filming for a quick sidebar with Taylor, who is acing as the director.

He asks: “Hey, just checking, was that last take more what you had in mind?”

“Pretty good,” she tells him. “Uh, could you try to be sexier? Maybe more likeable this time?”
