Taron Egerton ‘splashes out £3M on a luxurious penthouse at BBC’s old studios in London’… after his stellar Golden Globes success
Taron Egerton has reportedly splashed out £3 million on a luxurious new penthouse in West London.
The Rocketman star, 30, has reportedly purchased the lavish new property on a complex renovated out of the old BBC headquarters in White City, which includes access to a pool, sauna and juice bar.
It comes after Taron’s incredible success at Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards, as he took to the stage to accept Best Actor In A Motion Picture: Musical Or Comedy for his performance as a young Elton John.

According to The Sun’s Bizarre column, Taron’s has purchased one of the properties in one of London’s top new builds.
The property has been described as ‘a cultural icon and a landmark piece of modern architecture’ by Design Insider.
As well as his luxurious penthouse, Taron will have access to a pool and sauna facilities in the new build, along with 24 hour personal trainers.

BBC ceased its broadcasting from Television Centre in 2013 to move to a new site close to Oxford Street, and a majority of the space has been turned into flats and leisure facilities.
After a refurbishment Television Centre opened again in 2017, and is now shared between BBC and ITV for some of their biggest productions.
The reports come after Taron was spotted waiting for his limo at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, and appeared to channelling his version of Elton in an eclectic multicoloured cardigan.

On Sunday he was left stunned as he accepted his first ever Golden Globe for his performance in Rocketman.
Taking to the stage he said: ‘This role has changed my life, it’s been the best experience of my life, it’s been such a joyous thing.
He also thanked Elton’s husband David Furnish for being convinced ‘he could play his husband.’
Taron then added: ‘To Elton John, thank you for the music, for living a life less ordinary and thank you for being my friend.
‘My mother is in the room somewhere. This is for you mam.’
